Summer Denim: Nicole Loher
The third in our collaboration with eBay and a few favorite fashion bloggers, Nicole Loher (aka The Style Student) is a twenty-year-old girl living in New York City, documenting life on what she describes as a “fashion meets fitness, fitness meets life” blog. We asked Nicole what drew her to the pair of denim cutoffs she scored on eBay. Here’s what she had to say about it:
"I chose vintage Levi’s high-rise denim shorts with a tropical print because they really capture how I’ve been feeling lately. I’ve been listening to a lot of M.I.A. this summer so I kind of just want to wear a bunch of bold, clashing pieces. And I like that each pair of Levi’s from this seller DIY’d them. And the pocket accent is really in this summer."

Hey girl, hey.

love you boo
sneak shot of me by one of my favorite humans, ever

side note anonymous

what concerns me about your message is that your attempt to insult me is more rewarding to you than it is hurtful to me.

you see, on a ”anonymous dick messaging” scale of 1 - 10 * i would assume you laughed, smirked and scored a whopping 7 maybe even an 8 leaving your message; kudos. but, on a ”i care what you say” scale of 1 - 10 * i hardly even hit .75

regardless, your negativity is noted and dismissed. you just can’t break this kind of happiness.

*1 being low and 10 being high

Sometimes being a friend means mastering the art of timing. There is a time for silence. A time to let go and allow people to hurl themselves into their own destiny. And a time to prepare to pick up the pieces when it’s all over. Gloria Naylor (via sorakeem)
